Get $77 Drain Special This Saturday
Dear Fellow Heroes, I went to my cardiologist this afternoon for a post-open heart surgery checkup. I was eager to get cleared to drive and Lynne, my wife, was anxious to learn if it was safe for me to go to the Mission Hills HQ to work so soon after surgery in light of the coronavirus. He said it was perfectly safe for me to come back. The coronavirus was only dangerous to the very frail. The mortality rate is 1% of all those infected. He said the canceling of large gatherings like NBA games and Coachella was being done out of an abundance of caution and would help to contain the spread of the disease. I know many of you are very concerned of contracting the COVID-19 disease. The Mayo Clinic recommends:The CDC doesn’t recommend that healthy people wear a face mask to protect themselves. My doctor echoed this by saying face masks are totally ineffective against flu-type viruses. The CDC strongly recommends staying home if one has a fever, cough of shortness of breath. Flu-type viruses thrive in colder weather and disappear as it gets warmer which why they call it “the flu season”. The threat of COVID-19 should therefore lessen as April progresses for SoCal and May for NoCal. The virus should be taken very seriously and everyone should follow the health recommendations above. We will continually assess the situation and will make further announcements if conditions warrant. In the meantime remain calm. Look forward to seeing everyone in Mission Hills on Monday, John B John Bergeron Chief Operating Officer Rooter Hero 11150 Sepulveda Blvd. Mission Hills, CA 91345 C (847) 903-5908 John.Bergeron@RooterHero.com
